Group Booking Policies

Initial Bookings:

  • Upon inquiry, we will contact you to discuss program options and approximate group numbers. You will receive a quote for your activity.
  • To book a program we require a 25% deposit (paid via credit card)
  • The deposit is due ASAP to confirm your booking. Your booking is not confirmed until we receive the deposit.
  • By booking your program and paying the deposit you acknowledge and accept our policies as outlined in this document.

  • A 25% deposit is due at the time of booking. This amount will be applied to your final invoice.
  • 48 Hours Prior to Your Booking
    • Payment of the final invoice is due.
    • One payment must be provided for the entire group.
    • Please confirm your final number of expected participants for your paddling program. The final invoice will be based on this number.
  • If no final numbers were provided, the client will be charged, at least, for the number of participants estimated at the time of booking. Furthermore, it is not guaranteed that we will be able to accommodate an increased number of participants due to kayak availability and guide to participants’ ratio.
  • If multiple activities are booked, then full payment is due 48 hours prior to the last activity.
  • If no alternate payment arrangements have been made and no payment has been received by the end of the program the provided credit card will be charged the full cost of the program.

  • All participants must be present for the boat and safety talk. The safety talk (10-15 minutes) is included in your tour time.
  • Waivers or (if applicable) acknowledgment of risk forms must be signed by all participants and in the possession of Jericho Beach Kayak before the start of the program
  • Any participant under the age of 19 must have an Informed Consent Form signed by a parent or legal guardian. Any participant under the age of 19 without a signed form will NOT be permitted to participate in on-water activities.
  • For programs using double kayaks, all teachers/chaperones/activity leaders are required to paddle in double kayaks unless the total number of participants is odd in which case one adult will be required to use a single kayak.
  • Jericho Beach Kayak is not responsible for any personal items left at or near our hut before, during, or after any program. Valuables should be left at school, on the bus, or with a chaperone that is staying on land.
