Home-Learner Kayak Program
Is your kid a home learner?
Are you looking for a fun activity for them during the day?
Then this is a great opportunity for them!
We will meet once a week over 4 weeks and spend 2 hours paddling as well as exploring the coastline and making new friends. Participants will get the opportunity to paddle their very own sea kayak in a safe, fun environment.
Kayak, safety gear, and wetsuits are included. Participants just need clothing to wear under (and potentially over) the wetsuit, footwear that can get wet, and a change of clothing.

$135 (+GST)

We will meet Mondays 3-5pm for four consecutive weeks
May 8, 15, 29, June 5
(note: no class on Victoria Day
AGE POLICY
We require kids to be (at least) 6.5 years old and not older than 10.
We might offer a home learner program for kids 10+ in the future, please contact us if this is something you are interested in.
PREREQUISITES
No experience or swimming ability is needed, but it helps if your child is comfortable in the water!
CANCELLATION POLICY
Registration is for all 4 weeks. Partial registration (for only some sessions) is not possible. No refunds are given for missed sessions.

In any case, we do appreciate it if you could let us know sooner than later if you are planning to cancel so we can give your spot to somebody else if possible.
Please Note:
Our programs run rain or shine.
We try our best to maximize our time on the water. However, sometimes weather conditions and/or participants’ stamina might mean that we will also spend some time on the beach. In these cases, we will spend time exploring the intertidal zone and play games and learn more about kayaking and navigation.
