Camp Overview

In our half-day Beginner Kayaking Summer Camp for youth 10-14 years old, we offer a unique and safe environment for youth who are eager to learn kayaking skills and have a blast in an ocean environment. Campers will enjoy five engaging half-days of exploration, excitement, and skill development, accompanied by their peers and enthusiastic Paddle Canada- certified instructors.

We will cover fundamental kayaking skills such as boat handling, safely capsizing, and re-entering their kayak which will prepare campers for short paddles in sheltered waters. Weather permitting, we will also aim to certify participants with a nationally recognized paddling certification (Paddle Canada Basic Kayaking Skills).

This camp is all about honing those kayaking skills while having a fantastic time at the beach and on the ocean.
